CLASS 150 FLANGED WCB GATE VALVE

Class 150 Flanged WCB Gate Valve is most commonly used for water supply systems. Gate valves have a closure element sliding into the flow stream which restricts flow.

Body and bonnet made of carbon steel ASTM A216 WCB. Design according to API 600. Gate: ASTM a216 WCB + 13 Cr. Face to face according to ASME B16.10. Flanged ends according to ASME B16.5. Working temperature: -20ºC +400ºC.

WCB is an acronym for Wrought ( or welded) Carbon (the material used) and grade B steel. Grade B carbon steel is stronger and more ductile compared to the other two carbon steel grades A and C. In manufacturing a WCB Gate valves, the steel process can either be cast or forged body.

All valves will be supplied with the relevant Material Certificates and the flanges of the valves are predrilled to ASA 150. Typical Sizes available vary from 2Inch (50mm) to 8Inch (200mm).
